The course
When the crest is narrow, it is widened.
The 4C specialism at Level 4 · EXPERT is a professional training course on split crest and maxillary sinus elevation, focusing on magneto-dynamic techniques and the use of customised meshes.
It covers the biological principles, indications and protocols for the predictable management of reduced bone volumes — that is, situations where traditional implantology reaches its limits.
The theoretical phase is completed on the e-learning platform and concludes with a final test; on Friday afternoon, the material is reviewed and the first practical session is carried out, whilst on Saturday the entire session is spent working on animal or educational anatomical models.
The three EXPERT specialities are independent and can be taken in any order. Purchased together, they cost €6,900 (EXPERT COMPLETE) instead of €7,500: this rate applies only to the immediate purchase of the entire level; those who enrol in one course at a time pay €2,500 per course. The package must be requested from the administration office and entitles you to enrolment for each course in the level: a certificate of attendance is issued for each course, and a level certificate upon completion of the level. Course and package fees are quoted net of VAT and are payable upon receipt.

A thin ridge is not a contraindication — Split crest and sinus lift procedures make a proportion of cases that traditional implantology excludes treatable again.
The magneto-dynamic technique — Indications and limitations of the magneto-dynamic instrument, with a focus on the post-operative recovery promised by its minimally invasive nature.
Customised meshes — The practical session covers the use of meshes, which is the stage where planning translates into the final result.
Primary stability is measured — Simultaneous implant placement and stability assessment conclude the sequence: bone volume serves to support an implant, not itself.

Assessment and certification
Assessment and certification
The online test concludes the theoretical phase and marks the start of the residential part. The assessment on the models is practical and is followed by a final discussion.
Upon completion, AMI issues the certificate for the Bone Reconstruction module, Expert Level 4C. Once all three specialities have been completed, participants gain access to the two Level 5 · DIAMOND courses.
