The course
Severe atrophy, without regeneration.
IUXTA is the 4A speciality of Level 4 · EXPERT: it addresses severe maxillomandibular atrophy using non-regenerative techniques, and in particular the screw-retained IUXTA-3D subperiosteal implant.
It is aimed at those who wish to treat severe atrophy without resorting to grafts or complex regenerative procedures. The theoretical phase is undertaken via the e-learning platform and concludes with a final test; the residential part begins on Friday afternoon with a revision session and practical work on models, and continues on Saturday with a full day of dissection and surgery on fresh anatomical specimens.
The three EXPERT specialities are independent and can be taken in any order. Purchased together, they cost €6,900 (EXPERT COMPLETE) instead of €7,500: this price applies only to the immediate purchase of the entire level; those who enrol in one course at a time pay €2,500 per course. The package must be requested from the administration office and entitles you to one enrolment for each course in the level: each course comes with a certificate of attendance, and upon completion of the level, a level certificate is awarded. Course and package fees are quoted net of VAT and are payable upon receipt.

Saturday is dedicated to practical work — A full day of dissection and surgery on fresh cadavers, following Friday’s revision using models.

Assessment and certification
Assessment and certification
The online test concludes the theoretical phase and marks the start of the residential part. The assessment on the specimen is practical and is followed by a final discussion.
Upon completion, AMI issues the IUXTA module certificate, Expert Level 4A. Once all three specialities have been completed, participants gain access to the two Level 5 · DIAMOND courses.
