A university qualification in implantology, without closing your practice.
The University Advanced Course in Implantology is the academic qualification awarded upon completion of the AMI oral surgery programme: 12 CFU awarded by Italian University, delivered via a blended learning format. The course is delivered online over nine months, from your own practice and in your own country; the programme concludes with a weekend on-site, featuring practical sessions, the final exam and a networking dinner.
It is designed for dentists who wish to obtain a university qualification that is recognised both in Italy and abroad, without interrupting their clinical practice. The programme ranges from diagnosis and digital planning to techniques for severe bone atrophy, taught by lecturers from the AMI implantology courses.
The fees and dates for the next intake are provided by the administrative office: this page leads to an orientation meeting, where eligibility is checked and enrolment with the university is finalised.

Eight modules, from diagnosis to advanced techniques, culminating in a final project based on a documented clinical case.
- Implant fundamentals and diagnosis: surgical anatomy, biomechanics, 3D/CBCT imaging, digital case planning
- Basic implant surgery: standard technique, soft tissue management, post-extraction implants, immediate loading
- Advanced surgery and bone regeneration: GBR, maxillary sinus lift, management of bone defects
- Full-arch and digital workflow: All-on-4 and All-on-6 protocols, guided surgery, intraoral scanning and CAD-CAM
- Advanced implant techniques: zygomatic, pterygoid and iuxta-osseous implants for severe bone atrophy
- Practical workshop: surgical simulation on models, implant placement and soft tissue management
- Clinical cases and complications: discussion of real-life cases, biological and mechanical complications
- Final project work: presentation and discussion of a documented clinical case

The course cannot be purchased via the website: the administration office will provide details of the fee, the timetable for the next intake and the enrolment procedure during the orientation meeting, which can be booked via this page.
Enrolment is finalised by the university in accordance with its own requirements and deadlines: the orientation session serves to verify these in advance, so as not to waste time later on.
